"Different colors of hope" is a mixed medium collage of origami, old magazines, and scrap paper. All organized within a color wheel that draws the viewer into the black/white/gold heart in the middle, as the heart spreads a song throughout the color wheel. As times get hard, appreciation for the things around us start to dim, and trying to find hope in this modern age seems impossible. But I believe in appreciation of everything, and this piece best shows that hope is all around us, from the things that we see, to the people and culture every where. We live in a world that is a color wheel and that even though our colors are different we can all come together and see the beauty in each other. Hope to me is community.
